We’ve had our guy now for a month (Loretta X Royce litter) and I can honestly say what a great experience it has been! Mariah our breeder is hands down the best and I have never encountered such great care and attentiveness when looking to add a member on to our family. She is always available to answer any questions I have no matter how small or silly and to help put any thoughts at ease. She was was very thoughtful in her recommendation on who would be a great fit for our family with young children and we couldn’t be happier. Mariah is extremely knowledgeable at what she does and you can tell she is be truly dedicated to her passion. Through the process of waiting for our pup ,Mariah always kept us up to date on what was going on and always made an effort for to us feel like we were apart of it. It would be impossible to convey in this post how amazing and supportive Mariah and Canadian Shield are as a breeders and an ongoing resource. From the first conversation to pick up and the ever after, we couldn't be happier. Most of the time you pick up a dog and that is the end of your relationship with the breeder. For us, it feels like we have someone just a text or a call away who is an endless resource of information and helpful support as we embark on our journey with our beautiful puppy.

We have a 10 week old girl named Sue who is adapting remarkably as we are just about to hit the one week mark! Sue feels like family and has already given us a sense of comfort in her disposition / mannerisms….still a crazy little ball of energy, but absolutely everything we were all hoping for and some! The process leading up to taking sue home was nothing short of super reassuring, Mariah was so helpful, pleasant, and active throughout that time period. I know all of us were super appreciative knowing Sue was coming from a top of the line family but we were completely comforted in Mariah’s obedient approach, knowledge, & experience! I very highly recommend Canadian Shield Cane Corsos.
I picked up Storm (My cane corso) in September of 2023 from Mariah and she was absolutely perfect. I spent some time looking for a good Corso breeder, as I wanted the perfect dog and contacted a few but decided to go with Canadian Shield Cane Corso, and I do not regret it one bit. Mariah helps in the picking process of your puppy based on lifestyle and members of your household as she gets to know the puppies temperaments. Mariah is an incredibly reliable breeder whose dogs are in beyond amazing condition. When I contacted Mariah about getting a puppy from her she went through various interviews with me to make sure I was the right fit for a Cane Corso. Being a previous Rottweiler owner I knew a bit about working dogs, and I let her know I was very committed to getting storm into training right away and making sure she had the best life possible. Mariah was available to answer ANY & ALL of my questions when it came to cane corsos and still to this day, 7 months later, is so helpful and willing to help me out with anything I need to know .
