Mariah is very kind and always available to answer all of your questions throughout the entire process, starting with helping you decide whether a Corso is the right choice of breed for your family. She loves her dogs and puppies and wants to ensure they are all going to a warm and loving forever homes. She is passionate about betterment of the breed and it was obvious from the start that she speaks from a lot of experience. We were confident we found the right breeder after meeting Mariah and her girls. Zara is a beautiful, well mannered girl and Cassia is a sweet and playful darling. After Zara gave birth, Mariah kept us up to date on how things were going throughout the first seven weeks until it came time to meet the litter and our puppy. During that visit, Mariah was well prepared in explaining everything we needed to know about his diet and health care, and offered a lot of information on what to buy ahead of time in order to set us up for success. When we picked up Sarg a week and half later, we were completely prepared to take him home and could not be happier with our Boy. Today he continues to thrive as a very healthy, intelligent, and sweet pup who is well mannered and absolutely stunning. Mariah continues to check in periodically to see how things are going and answer all of our questions we have along the way. We’ve never felt overwhelmed as we know we can always ask her for guidance. We have received dozens of compliments from everyone who meets Sarg on how absolutely gorgeous he is, including his vet. We love him so much and are forever thankful to Mariah for taking such good care of him before bringing him home and always giving us support! Highest recommendation to anyone interested in this amazing breed.

Where do I start, we had been looking for a Cane Corso for over a year. The more I researched and tried to find a reputable and sound breeder.. the more Canadian Shield kept popping up in my searches. I have had a few dogs in my life from Akita’s to labs and each breeder was typically the same like going through the motions. From the moment I submitted our puppy application, I have never had such open, honest and educational conversations, and felt so comfortable with someone. We are honestly sooo lucky to be part of the Canadian Sheild family,even the families that have been part of our litter from Royce and Cassia, including past litters have kept in touch via social media, which has never happened to us with any of our other dogs. The passion and devotion that Mariah has for the cane corso breed and the families that are lucky enough to get one of her puppies is astonishing!. On August 21 , 2022 after a few years of researching breeder's we decided on Canadian shield the most important thing to us was a healthy and stable puppy and a breeder that cared more about her dogs then money. It was evident immediately that we contacted the right breeder. We had long conversations through text, and after that we had a phone call interview with Mariah. We still had to do a in person meeting to see about getting on wait-list after the in person meeting and meeting Enzo's parents, Royce and Cassia and all of Mariah dog's we 💯 % knew this was the breeder and thankfully Mariah agreeed that our family would be a great fit for one of her dogs. Not only during our in person vist did we meet the dog's, every question was answered, no matter how big or small. Now the wait began, Mariah was always sending updates along the way we where never left wondering what was going on and if we asked a question it was answered extremely timely mannered. Once the puppies where born on February 21,2023 we received updates almost daily on them and even though we changed our minds on which puppy almost weekly because all of them where absolutely amazing Mariah always told us the difference between each puppies personality. She never once seemed to busy to answer our questions. Finally the day was here to pick up our puppy. Mariah puts aside 1.5hr time slot per family, during that time we meet all the puppies and again more questions answered paperwork filled out more reassurance that we made the right decision in Canadian shield Cane Corso. We chose Green 💚 boy aka Enzo. Enzo has been an absolute joy balanced loving extremely smart. Enzo willingness to please his family makes training and taking him places such an easy task. Enzo is a testament to Mariah's program of what a Cane Corso should be. We have had Enzo for 5 mths now and the support is still amazing from Mariah which again speaks volumes to Mariah passion and caring for her extended family we still feel just has important as we did on the first time we contacted Mariah. We would recommend anyone considering a Cane Corso to look no further then Canadian shield/Mariah. My family will definitely be back for another puppy when the time is right.

I don’t write reviews but I can’t say anything bad about this experience.. I can’t express how amazing Mariah is! So I did a ton of research.. Looked all over IG, google, and facebook groups. Called bunch, visited a few and decided on Canadian Shield CC. It was the closest breeder that had consistently outstanding litters and they socialized/housebroken from day one you bring your pup home. From day one it has been a walk in the park and are truly amazing pups. Temperament is top notch. She’s happy, healthy and friendly to everyone.. Currently practicing to title her GDT. I have a pup from Cassia x Royce . Another big thing is Mariah is always a IG dm away with any questions big or small. I would recommend her 100%

I often don’t write reviews but for Mariah I will and it’s because Mariah provided me with the Best breeder experience I have had in my lifetime of owning pets and this is something I don’t say that lightly as in my line of work I have seen a long list of nightmare breeders. My puppy came from the February 2023 litter and Ugo is happy, fun, confident and healthy. Throughout Cassia’s pregnancy Mariah has shown me nothing but patience and kindness when answering my excessive questions and concerns. She continues to give me support even after I’ve gotten Ugo, with trainer recommendations. I am very happy that we went with Mariah / Canadian Shield Cane Corso and highly recommend this breeder. We are so happy that we made the decision to get our puppy from Mariah. After extensive research, and conversations with other breeders, we decided to move forward with Mariah's screening process and we are so happy we did. Mariah's dogs are all so well cared for and well-mannered, and that is represented in our puppy Como. He is happy, even-tempered, loves meeting new people, and such a quick learner. On top of that, Mariah herself has been incredibly helpful and supportive, she kept us up to date during Cassia's whole pregnancy and the first 8 weeks of the puppies lives, she helped recommend a puppy suitable for myself and my husband's lifestyle and wants, and she's always there to answer questions no matter how silly they may be!
